So I didn't know this but I had DST installed on another drive, not the default C drive, the game worked fine however some mods weren't downloading properly, they wouldn't update, or show up in the mod folder, the troubleshoot FAQ by Klei didn't help, I tried everything from going in. 1 unsubscribe to all mods (close DS) 2 enter here C:\Users\(your user name)\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\save\mod_config_data and here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\mods and delete all contents 3 open the DS workshop subscribe to ONE mod at the time 4 open the game and test 5 rinse and repeat.
